ZBALLERINI OPENS HOLIDAY POP-UP STORE IN DETROIT
ZBallerini has opened its first-ever holiday pop-up store in Midtown Detroit on November 5. Located at 4215 Cass Avenue, the pop-up showcases its handmade travel, business and everyday bags, which, until now, have only been available online.
The pop-up store will give designer Mike Ballerini a unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with his customers, something he always enjoyed when working high-end retail before founding ZBallerini in 2013.
ZBallerini incorporates soft Merino wool, supple leather, 100 percent organic hemp, exquisitely engineered latches and high-end Lampo zippers. A “windows of Detroit” motif is a ZB signature design element. Although designed as “bags for the modern man,” women, too, are taking notice.
“It’s a way of giving back to the customers who have given so much to me,” said Ballerini. “Setting up a retail pop-up store in Detroit is a way of giving back to the people who gave him the courage to create the line in the first place”
