Z ZegnaZ Zegna found inspiration in the sport of tennis for its new spring/summer 2019 collection. Filled with colorful, fashionable, and functional items, this collection is moving its customer forward into 2019.

The collection combines performance-backed tailoring with sportswear to reinterpret the very courts that have made tennis history. It’s filled with a collage of pastel shades and graphics, enhanced and contrasted with vivid saturated tones. Ultra-fine stretch nylon and maxi mesh play with layered transparency.

Silhouettes are layered, lengthened and light with volume this season. Fitted blazers are combined with widened shorts or pants.

Z ZegnaAdditionally, with the introduction of its TechMerino Wash & Go suit in spring 2018 made with resilient wool fibers that can be washing again, and again, Z Zegna is bringing this technology into other categories to make an entire wardrobe of deconstructed jackets, bombers, rainscoat, and tailored drawstring pants.

Accessories were not forgotten, with the introduction of the new “Caulera” sneaker, named in honor of the Oasi Zegna tennis court built in 1956 by Ermenegildo Zegna in the area of the Oasi Zegna called in the same way. Tennis match-worthy sun visors, tennis cuffs and TechMerino hair bands were also introduced.

To celebrate the theme of the season Z Zegna has decided to appoint for the first time an official face for the brand: Alexander Zverev, the youngest tennis player in the ATP top 20 and currently ranked number 3 in the world.
