TOMMY HILFIGER REFERENCES A ‘NEW NAUTICAL’ THEME FOR HIS SPRING HILFIGER COLLECTION
American designer Tommy Hilfiger debuted his spring 2019 Hilfiger Collection for men at a special presentation in his New York showroom on Tuesday, July 10.
This season marks a contemporary reinterpretation of classic Tommy Hilfiger iconography and time-honored American sportswear classics.
Inspired by iconic nautical references, technical jackets and sailor smocks are reinvented in contemporary silhouettes and luxe technical fabrics. The look is playful yet sophisticated, with an embroidered modern badge celebrating the brand’s flag logo, Mr. Hilfiger’s autograph and the Tommy Crest, with a focus on a classic Tommy Hilfiger shade of deep red.
Vintage brand graphics combine with classic stripes and color-blocking in a black, blue, red, white and yellow color palette for a bold yet effortless look for the modern Tommy Man.
