Outdoor retailer Sports Authority will begin liquidating all of its stores in the United States starting on May 26 and are slated to conclude on June 27.
Liquidation specialists Gordon Brothers Group and Hilco Merchant Resources have announced that Kitson is moving up the closing date of its remaining 14 brick-and-mortar locations in California, Oregon and Nevada.
Kitson, the Los Angeles mini-chain known for its unique selection of merchandise and celebrity clientele, is in the process of closing its 17 brick-and-mortar locations as well at its e-commerce store.
City Sports, Inc., the Boston-based specialty sporting goods retailer which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this year, has announced plans to close all 18 of its retail locations along the East Coast, having previously closed eight stores last month.
The 83-year-old Chicago retailer has retained Gordon Brothers Group to handle going-out-of-business sales at its three stores.
