Stone Gets SOJRN Sales Post
NEW YORK – Doug Stone has joined SOJRN Ltd. as vice president of sales and business development.
Stone was most recently national sales manager of Raffi Linea Uomo and has also held executive sales posts as Corbin, London Fog, Hartmarx and E-Land Sportswear. At SOJRN, he reports to Ray Crawford, president.
SOJRN is a three-year-old vertical manufacturer of men’s and women’s knitwear and sportswear based in China which is using replenishable cashmere, bamboo and silk in its spring 2007 collection. “The garments have a wonderful hand and all the ingredients are replenishable,” Stone said. “Bamboo is truly a future staple fabrication and SOJRN is at the forefront of the venture. I just couldn’t resist the opportunity of joining a leader.”
SJORN also announced that Charlie Shields has joined the firm as sales manager for women’s apparel, reporting to Stone.
