STEVEN ALAN OPENS TWO STANDALONE OPTICAL LOCATIONS IN MANHATTAN
American designer Steven Alan has opened the doors to his second Manhattan standalone Optical location this month. The retail store, which will sell the designer’s eyeglasses and sunglasses, is located in Nolita at 233-235 Elizabeth Street.
The company’s first Manhattan location opened earlier this month at 13 West 8th Street in the West Village neighborhood.
The Nolita store is the fourth retail location that the brand has opened with Eponym in the last year, accounting for nearly 20 percent of the designer’s overall retail locations.
As previously reported by MR, Steven Alan Optical recently renewed its licensing agreement with Eponym to design, produce and distribute its optical and sun wear through March 2021. As part of the agreement, Eponym will open up to 10 Steven Alan Optical stores throughout the term of the contract.
