Arnold PalmerIn a deal brokered by global sports and talent management company IMG, Arnold Palmer Enterprises has signed a new multi-year licensing agreement with apparel company Sport Casuals to develop and distribute a range of Arnold Palmer branded clothing for the U.S. market.

“I am so pleased to be able to partner with Sport Casuals, who are not only committed to reintroducing an apparel line of the highest quality, but also share the enthusiasm that my family and I have for giving back and making a positive change in the lives of families and children,” said Arnold Palmer. “We have spent considerable time and effort identifying the right company to join us in this mission and feel we have created an ideal arrangement.”

The new line will include polo shirts, pants, and shorts, as well as various outerwear and weather-resistant items that utilize technical fabrics while keeping a classic golf aesthetic. Additionally, the net profits from the collection will be donated to Arnie’s Army Charitable Foundation, Arnold Palmer’s recently established philanthropic entity.

“We are honored at being entrusted with Mr. Palmer’s brand and are extremely excited about re-launching and combining the most respected and iconic name in golf with Mr. Palmer’s legendary philanthropic efforts,” said Mike Shea, chairman & CEO of the newly formed, Arnold Palmer Apparel Company.

Linne Kimball, Vice President, Licensing at IMG, added: “No one deserves a prominent place in the golf apparel market more so than the legendary Arnold Palmer, and we can’t think of a more fitting business model than the one we have crafted with Sport Casuals.”

The first products are slated to land at retail later this year.
