Southern TideSouth Carolina-based fashion and lifestyle brand Southern Tide has announced a corporate partnership with the non-profit, Folds of Honor. Southern Tide’s annual summer collection, Freedom Rocks, will celebrate the great work of Folds of Honor founder Major Dan Rooney and his team, which is to provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.

Since 2007, Folds of Honor has operated by a simple motto: “Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy.” This is a motto that Southern Tide takes to heart. As of fall 2016, nearly 13,000 scholarships have been provided via the organization’s various fundraising events such as the FOH QuikTrip 500 – a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Patriot Golf Day and many local grassroots efforts around the country.

The Freedom Rocks Collection from Southern Tide is a line of patriotic and festive summer-wear for both men and women. From graphic tops and seersucker to t-shirts and swimwear, the collection is available in patriotic colors and designs.

southern tide“We are thrilled to support such an amazing organization that works tirelessly to do meaningful things for military families in need,” said Christopher Heyn, CEO of Southern Tide. “Folds of Honor has long been on our radar for the amazing work that they do, and we are so proud to join their roster of prestigious partners.”

The collaboration includes a direct corporate donation as well as a company matching program that will be offered for employee participation. A robust social media campaign is also planned to celebrate the works of Folds of Honor. Additionally, Southern Tide’s retail partners will stand with the brand in support of the Folds of Honor partnership by displaying signage throughout their retail locations noting the alliance.

“Our entire Folds of Honor team is excited to have Southern Tide as a partner,” added Rooney. “We believe this unique relationship with one of the hottest apparel companies in the United States will force multiply for many years. Many thanks to Southern Tide, we appreciate their support and patriotism!”
