SCHOTT NYC RELOCATES LOS ANGELES RETAIL STORE
American outerwear brand Schott NYC has announced that it has opened its third U.S. retail store, moving the current West Coast flagship to 101 South La Brea Avenue between First and Second streets in Los Angeles.
The 104-year-old family business has operated at its Los Angeles flagship store at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, CA since 2014.
The new 1,100 square-foot Los Angeles retail store showcases Schott NYC’s classic jackets such the iconic Perfecto jacket, designed by Irving Schott in 1928. It will stocks men’s and women’s outerwear, sportswear, accessories and the Perfecto Brand collection of limited edition outwear. Complementing the offerings are other American made brands such as Chippewa Boots, Thorogood Boots, Coronado leather accessories, Digby & Iona jewelry, Shoppe 815 candles, Otterwax leather care goods and men’s grooming products.
“Over the past two and a half years in Los Angeles, we have built a strong customer base,” said Jason Schott, chief operating officer and fourth generation family member. “We hope to be more accessible by moving to a more central location.”
In addition to the move in Los Angeles, Schott will be opening a new store in Chicago at the end of the summer.
