SAKS OFF 5TH TO OPEN FIRST CANADIAN STORES ON MARCH 17
Saks Fifth Avenue will open the first three Canadian branches of its off-price chain OFF 5TH, in Vaughan Mills, Halton Hills and Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, on Thursday, March 17. With the arrival of these stores, which features merchandise from more than 800 brands, Canadians will now be able to experience the ultimate “thrill of the hunt” the chain is known more.
“There is great anticipation and consumer interest for our Saks OFF 5TH luxury off-price format in Canada,” said Jonathan Greller, President, HBC Off-Price. “We are thrilled to finally open the doors of our first Canadian stores next week and show customers a new experience in remarkable savings from some of the most notable names in fashion.”
As previously reported, the three Ontario locations are the first of nine OFF 5TH the company plans to open in Canada in 2016, with up to 25 stores planned to open nationwide in the coming years.
