SAKS OFF 5TH ANNOUNCES EXPANSION PLANS FOR 2016
Saks Fifth Avenue’s popular off-price unit, OFF 5th, has announced the opening of four more stores in 2016.
Two of the new stores will be located in Chicago: a 40,000-square-foot store in the new mixed-used NEWCITY development in Lincoln Park to open in May; and another store to bow this spring at the corner of State and Madison Streets.
In addition, a 29,000-square-foot store will debut in August at the Centre in Preston Ridge in Frisco, Texas, which will serve the North Dallas market, and a 40,000-square-foot store that will be part of the Congressional Plaza shopping center in Rockville, Maryland, and is schedule to open in Fall 2016.
Late last month, the newest branch of Off 5th opened at the Tampa Premium Outlets, a 441,000-square-foot shopping center in Tampa, Florida.
