ROBERT GRAHAM IN THE WINNER’S CIRCLE

The name Robert Graham has earned a reputation for being a winner in the world of fashion. But adding icing to the cake this past weekend, the Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia race car sponsored by Robert Graham was in the winner’s circle at the Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans, France, winning the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GTE-Am class.
The three American drivers, Bill Sweedler, Townsend Bell and Jeff Segal completed 331 trouble-free laps on the 8.5 mile circuit, which combines a road race course with public roads including the famed 3.7 mile long Mulsanne Straight. “Since our first Le Mans last year, our only ambition was to get back to Le Mans and win,” says Sweedler. “We knew that if we came back with the same Scuderia Corsa team, and the same drivers, we’d have a winner. Last year we didn’t quite know what to expect, but this year we were ready. Still, I think we’re all a little bit shocked that it actually happened!”
