NEW YORK – Reggaeton Wear has licensed Vida Shoes International to manufacture and distribute Reggaeton Footwear for both men and women in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Vida also holds the license for Phat Farm and Baby Phat footwear.

In a statement, Morris Varon, Vida’s vice president of sales, said, “We’ve been looking for something exciting for the Hispanic demographic as demanded by our retail partners. The Reggaeton brand fills this need perfectly.”

First deliveries of the Reggaeton footwear, which will include casual and sporty styles as well as the brand’s dog logo, will commence next spring.

Founded in 2003, Reggaeton Wear is a partnership of Honduran-born co-founders Jary and Ebel Guerra and Adjmi Apparel’s IFG division. Together, they have formed the new Innovative Latin Group (ILG) to service the needs of the Latino fashion consumer.
