How many of us get to live our fantasies? Mark Weber knows he’s one of the lucky ones: as a young man who often dreamed of hosting a radio show, and he’s now doing just that. “I drove to work my entire career and listened to talk radio: Don Imus, Howard Stern, Michael Savage. After 9-11, I listened mostly to NPR, but I loved anything about politics, about life.”

Most of his life has been the fashion industry: Weber worked his way up to top executive positions at PVH and LVMH and wrote two books on the business, one entitled Always in Fashion. That’s now the name of his radio talk show on WABC. Recent programming has focused on a behind-the-scenes look at the fashion industry, but the show often touches on more esoteric topics including success, leadership, and personal fulfillment. Guests have included industry icons like Bloomingdales former CEO Mike Gould, menswear designer Joseph Abboud, TV personality Tim Gunn, financial expert Gilbert Harrison, gifted interviewer Fern Mallis, Hudson Bay CEO Jerry Storch and Barneys CEO Daniella Vitalie. “Since we got promoted to prime time two hours a week, we’re getting great guests,” confides Weber. “This is the only show of its kind in the country.”

Adding to the show’s success is its charming and personable co-host: Mark’s son Jesse, a lawyer, consultant, legal analyst for Fox News and aspiring actor who adds a definite millennial perspective to the programming. Says Jesse, “Since Always In Fashion is a business talk-show, any subject can come into play. And it does! Especially in this age of social media, where being connected is no longer an option but a price of entry to be relevant, a radio show like ours is more important than ever. It’s a stand-out, go-to guide, especially for young people, on how to be successful no matter your passion or career path. My brother Jarrod and I grew up learning these lessons from our father; now everyone can learn them! In addition, like it or not, everything in fashion and business is connected to the law (i.e. employment matters, intellectual property, real estate, contracts). As an attorney, I round out the show by providing commentary on all kinds of legal issues.”

Check out Always in Fashion on WABC radio, Saturday evenings from 8:00 pm-9:00 pm and Sunday afternoons from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm.
