PHARRELL AND ADIDAS CELEBRATE CULTURAL DIVERSITY WITH NEW COLLECTION
Adidas Originals and musician Pharrell Williams have announced details on their new collaboration entitled “Hu” that will hit stores and online on September 29.
The 19-piece collection of apparel and footwear was developed by Williams to help celebrate cultural diversity around the world and features flags, stripes and translations of the phrase “Human Race” in English, French and Japanese.
“Hu is short for human – human being, human race, humankind. But Hu, itself is also a reference to color,” said Williams. “As human beings, we all have a color. We all look different, we all speak different languages, but we’re all connected.”
