PENDLETON TO CELEBRATE GRAND OPENING OF SEATTLE STORE

Photo SeattleOregon-based retailer and manufacture Pendleton Woolen Mills will open its newest retail store in Seattle, Washington on Thursday, August 25. The store will offer a selection of women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, blankets and home furnishings.

The opening celebration will include several special events through August 27, including a birthday party for the National Park Service (which celebrates 100 years on August 25),  a Pendleton Whisky and Rogue craft brew tasting, a chance to meet internationally known glass artist Preston Singletary, screenings of the short film “Canyon Song,” daily prize drawings, and more.

“Pendleton has become an iconic Northwest brand and consumers in the region have grown to rely on our dependable quality and craftsmanship,” said Mort Bishop III, president of Pendleton. “We’re pleased to offer authentic Pendleton products to our neighbors in the greater Seattle market from apparel to Northwest inspired home products.”

The family-owned company recently celebrated 153 years of weaving fabrics in the Pacific Northwest. Its products are available through select retailers in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Japan, Korea and Australia; Pendleton stores; company catalogs; and direct-to-consumer channels including the Pendleton website.
