OLD NAVY TO RESSURECT “OVERNIGHT MILLIONAIRE” GIVEAWAY
Old Navy is resurrecting its popular “Overnight Millionaire” giveaway as part of a series of holiday promotions. When the chain’s stores open their doors for Black Friday shopping at 4pm (local time) on Thanksgiving, the first 50 people to line up at each Old Navy store in North America will receive a game card giving them a chance to win $1 million. The Overnight Millionaire winner will then be randomly selected on Friday, November 27 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
On that Thursday and Friday, customers will enjoy in-store only savings of 50 percent off their entire purchase. There will also be 40 percent off the entire store on Saturday and 30 percent off the entire store on Sunday and Monday, as well as special doorbuster deals, beginning on Wednesday, November 25.
Meanwhile, from December 1 through December 7, customers are invited to snap a selfie or a photo of friends and family doing good deeds, then share on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #UNSelfie and tagging @oldnavy. Each photo will trigger a $1 donation from Old Navy that will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, up to a $25,000 donation.
