NY picks for LV: Würkin Stiffs iPhone and iPad covers

by Harry Sheff

Jonathan Boos, who turned his Würkin Stiffs magnetic collar stays idea into a business that landed him in Nordstrom and on TV, debuted wooden iPhone and iPad covers at MRket NY recently.

The cases pictured here are made out of laser-etched lightweight bamboo. iPhone cases retail for $85 and iPad cases retail for $135. Patterns include argyle, houndstooth, plaid and a tire track design, and there are also cases made out of walnut.

In other news, Boos announced today that he has a second patent on his product. This one covers more broadly the magnetic collar stay idea, and should protect his Power Stays (for dress shirts) and Polo Stays (for polo shirts) from imitators.

Würkin Stiffs will be exhibiting at MRket Las Vegas, booth 498A.
