NIKE CELEBRATES CAVALIERS CHAMPIONSHIP WIN WITH NEW SNEAKER, VIDEO
In honor of the NBA Championship win by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Nike will make available new colorways of the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 10 iD, worn by brand ambassador and Cavaliers superstar LeBron James, on Tuesday, July 21 on NIKEiD.
The sneaker has a flexible, stretch-lined upper, responsive Zoom Air cushioning and increased lockdown through straps in the forefoot, midfoot and ankle. It will be available with custom options for a metallic swoosh, personalized lettering and black straps.
Since he started wearing the shoes in game 4 of the NBA finals, James averaged over 34 points per game.
The athletic brand has also released a short video in honor of the Cavaliers big win, the first in the over 50 years. The video – titled “Believe” – includes fans from around Cleveland and features the team’s top players Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, J.R. Smith and the finals MVP LeBron James.
