Mr Porter and Cos to Launch Capsule Collection
Without making too sweeping of a generalization, I think it’s safe to say that all men like to travel light. And this is in no way intended to cast the fairer sex in a negative light, but time and again female friends arrive from out of town with suitcases the size of small horse-drawn wagons. On the plus side, women out of town invariably have a few suitable outfits for every occasion with matching shoes and accessories for each, while a man out of town will regularly show up to a dressy event in board shorts and a tee, because that’s all he brought.
Mr Porter has teamed up with H&M’s more minimalist, higher end line to create a solution. The Modern Traveler range is a capsule collection for the frequent out-of-towner who understands the importance of an edited, yet perfectly adaptable wardrobe. The collection, that includes clothing, outerwear, tailoring, accessories and footwear will be available from May 7 on mrporter.com and in 14 Cos stores worldwide.
“We have a lot of respect for [Cos’] ideals and integrity, which very much fall in line with our own, and come across in the product’s quality and design.”,” said Mr Porter senior buyer Sam Lobban.
