Michael Kors Michael Kors has opened a three-floor, 22,000 sq. ft. flagship store in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood. The store, at 520 Broadway between Spring and Broome Streets, has a 4,000 sq. ft. men’s store, marking the debut of menswear in a company-owned retail store. Some of the menswear is exclusive to the store.

“I’m very excited to be opening our largest store in the world, and to have it be in SoHo,” said Kors in a statement. “New York City is my home and the source of so much of my inspiration as a designer. It’s a thrill to be able to offer my customers here such an amazing shopping experience.”

“This is the first opportunity for us to present the men’s collection in a complete format, featuring tailored clothing, shirts, ties, sportswear and accessories, in one of our stores,” added CEO John Idol. “It’s a great platform for the company to build upon its already successful men’s business. We view adding menswear to our existing Lifestyle store format as an opportunity to gauge the potential for an expansion of our retail concept. Retail is the key component of our overall growth strategy, and we are excited to incorporate our growing menswear business into that strategy.”
