MCM SHOWS SPRING ‘LUFT’ COLLECTION IN FLORENCE
Luxury accessories and apparel brand MCM presented its spring/summer 2019 “Luft” collection as part of a Pitti Uomo event in Florence on Wednesday.
Designed by the brand’s new Milan-based design center in-house team, the Luft (which means “air” in German) collection, is an homage to freedom of movement and hands-free travel. Mobility, freedom, and creativity are at the core of MCM’s values, interpreted throughout the spring/summer ‘19 collection in the use of materials, fabrics and hardware.
The collection is inspired by aviation, sky-based sports, and NASA exploration. The silhouettes draw on a utilitarian uniform inspiring the wearer to move, travel, and experience.
