Marc Schneider Named CEO of Kenneth Cole Productions

Marc SchneiderMarc Schneider is the new chief executive of Kenneth Cole Productions. He will report to company founder Kenneth Cole, who will continue as executive chairman and chief creative officer.

Schneider comes to Kenneth Cole from PVH, where he has been group president of the Heritage Brands division since 2011. Prior to that, he was president of PVH’s dress furnishings. Before joining PVH, he was an SVP at Timberland.

“I am excited to partner with Kenneth, someone I’ve personally and professionally respected for many years,” said Schneider in a statement. “This is also a great opportunity to collaborate with the retailers, the licensing partners, and the entire Kenneth Cole team for the journey ahead. The brand has such rich heritage, and tremendous global potential, and I look forward to getting started.”

Cole took on the role of CEO in 2011 after Jill Granoff left the company—she had been chief executive since 2008. Cole took his company private in 2012.
