Marc Jacobs and LVMH to be Honored at 67th Annual Parsons Fashion Benefit

The New School’s Parsons School of Design announced this week that it will honor Parsons alumnus and renowned fashion designer Marc Jacobs and LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, of which Marc Jacobs International is a part, at its 67th annual Parsons Fashion Benefit.

New York Times Fashion director, Vanessa Friedman, will provide the keynote address at the benefit. Vogue Editor-in-chief and artistic director of Condé Nast, Anna Wintour, and Saks Fifth Avenue president, Marc Metrick, will present the awards to Marc Jacobs and LVMH, respectively.

The event will be held on Tuesday, May 19th at the River Pavilion at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, beginning at 6:30 pm.  Champagne, wine, and spirits at the event will be provided by Moët Hennessy USA.

LVMH and Jacobs, a two-time honoree, are being recognized for their significant contributions to the field of fashion design. Past honorees include Jason Wu and Hugo Boss (2014), Proenza Schouler and Hudson’s Bay (2013), Donna Karan (2012), and Reed Krakoff (2011).
