Help is on its way for the shopping-challenged at Macy’s.

The department store has launched a new free personal shopping service, MyStylist@Macy’s, to aid customers in making their personal style and gift decisions. The experts will assist clients in choosing everything from their own wardrobe basics and items for special occasions to gifts, housewares and furniture.

The new service is available nationwide at Macy’s stores in 135 locations and appointments can be booked online or over the telephone at least two days in advance. The service is available seven days a week but there are no stylists yet for online shopping.

“We are ecstatic to bring this unique shopping experience to our customers,” said Susan Bertelsen, Macy’s group vice president of My Stylist@Macy’s and wedding & gift registry, in a statement. “Macy’s prides itself on offering the best range of fashion and accessories, as well as gifts for loved ones. With My Stylist@Macy’s, we will bring this expertise to the customer on a more personal level, and help ensure that they walk away with exactly what they need, from everyday to life’s biggest moments.”
