Louis Vuitton x Moke AmericaOn Friday, January 19, Moke America, the heritage brand known for bringing electric, green-friendly cars to the U.S., unveils the custom Louis Vuitton-designed Moke at the fashion house’s new pop-up shop in New York City.

The ultimate car collector’s ride is wrapped in an original LV design inspired by its spring/summer 2018 men’s campaign and can be seen through March 1 at the brand’s 655 Madison Avenue pop-up shop.

Louis Vuitton x Moke AmericaThe collaboration with the iconic beach buggy is inspired by (now exiting) men’s creative director Kim Jones’ tropical island themed collection, a perfect fit given Moke’s associated with coveted resort destinations including St. Tropez and St. Barth’s, and famous fans spanning Brigitte Bardot, Princess Margaret and the Beach Boys.

In addition to the custom Moke, the pop-up will also offer Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer ‘18 men’s Aloha collection paying homage to the tropical theme that took over the 90’s. Denim bucket hats, neoprene trousers, and vibrant blouses will be curated around the heritage custom-designed car, providing visitors with a taste of what is like to journey through the magical Caribbean islands.
