LIDS TO HOST 20TH ANNIVERSARY EVENTS ON NOVEMBER 3
Rapper Soulja Boy, NBA champion Draymond Green, and DJ Clark Kent will be among the celebrities who will help Indianapolis-based headwear retailer Lids celebrate its 20th anniversary during a series of special in-store events across 13 markets to take place on November 3.
The mall-based retailer will be hosting these events in stores in such locations as the Universal City Walk in Universal City, California, the Radisson Plaza in San Francisco, the Corner Mall in Boston, and the 42nd Street Entertainment Center in New York. Selected giveaways will include free hats, clothing, concert tickets and other goodies.
“We’ve enjoyed quite a ride over the last two decades, and our very passionate customers are at the heart of our success. These anniversary events are very much about celebrating them,” said Ken Kocher, president of Lids Sports Group. “The first 20 years have been exciting; but we have our eye on the next 20 years and beyond – at the ready with the apparel, headwear and novelty items that fans want – any team, any time, anywhere.”
