LACOSTE APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING FOR NORTH AMERICA

French sport-inspired premium casual wear brand Lacoste has named Laurent Boury as the new vice president of marketing for North America, as of January 2017. Before joining Lacoste, he most recently worked for Luxottica, where he held the position of vice president marketing of North America.

He joins the North American leadership team at Lacoste and reports directly to Joëlle Grünberg, president and CEO of Lacoste North America. In his new role, Boury oversees all marketing communications, advertising, public relations, social media, visual merchandising and trade and retail marketing efforts for the North American market.

Prior to Luxottica, Boury spent fifteen years at Unilever working across multiple brands and geographic locations including France, the United Kingdom and the United States. His most recent role was global vice president of markets, for the Dove brand, based out of New York City. Boury has more than 20 years of experience in building successful brands and developing award-winning marketing communications strategies.
