JOHNNIE-O LAUNCHES HANGIN’ OUT COLLECTION

California-based lifestyle apparel brand Johnnie-O is officially launching its new Hangin’ Out Collection, which hits stores today. An expanded version of the collection will be on sale for S/S ’18.

The Hangin’ Out collection redefines the casual sport shirt with the combination of a shorter length, great fit, and the brand’s patented, signature Tweener Button. It is designed for the guy who wants to wear his shirt outside the rules of convention.

“As of late, there has been a tremendous movement towards guys choosing not to wear their shirts tucked in. We created this collection to provide guys the opportunity to ‘duck the tuck’. Our same great sport shirts are now available in a tweaked length and cut that truly epitomize the Southern California vibe,” said founder John O’Donnell. “I truly believe we have created the single finest casual sport shirts on the planet.”

The full S/S ’18 collection also feature the use of garment-dyed fabrics, vintage slub textured cottons, custom melange yarns and water-repellent finishes on knitwear; thereby creating lifestyle pieces, including bottoms, that are casual in feel and can easily go from work to the weekend. There is also an expanded use of the company’s PREP-FORMANCE fabric in many of the company’s garments.
