JOHN VARVATOS TO DEBUT IN MOSCOW’S CROCUS CITY MALL
American menswear designer John Varvatos has announced that he will open his first Russian retail boutique in Moscow in the luxury shopping center Crocus City Mall in March 2016 in partnership with Russian entrepreneur Emin Agalarov and his family’s business venture, Crocus Group. It is Varvatos’ second store in Europe (the other one is in London) and his 21st store globally.
The 3,200-square-foot store will present the full spectrum of John Varvatos’ offerings, including John Varvatos Collection, John Varvatos Star U.S.A. and Converse by John Varvatos. The shop will initially emphasize spring ‘16 sportswear as well as the brand’s luxury tailored clothing, leather and canvas footwear, and a variety of accessories and leather goods, eyewear, fragrances and jewelry.

“I first became a fan of the John Varvatos brand as a client when I lived in America,” said Agalarov. “When I moved back to Russia, I realized there was nothing similar to it in Moscow. I reached out to John, we talked and we agreed to open a boutique in Crocus City Mall with the possibility of future developments. I am excited about the potential and possibilities.”
