Menswear online retailer JackThreads has debuted its new fall/winter 2016 collection with addition of an expansive line of eponymous footwear—a first for the retailer.

The line is comprised familiar styles updated with on-trend details designed for easy layering. Highlights include cropped pants, boucle knits, sherpa jackets, t-shirts with elongated silhouettes.

“We’ve interjected a lot more of our personality into the line,” Tony “TK” Kretten, creative director of JackThreads, tells MR. “We’ve honed in on our core aesthetic and have stepped up the novelty details. Really simple tweaks such as an elongated or scalloped hem can change the entire vibe of a garment. We’ve played with proportions and textures this year — our guy will see a lot of leather, suede and sherpa hits.”

Headquartered in SoHo, the brand’s new line of footwear is made from high-quality leathers and suedes, that gives a street-forward update to classic styles. Additionally, JackThreads has partnered with PrimaLoft to upgrade its outerwear program – each of the brand’s filled jackets and bombers have replaced down feathers with the eco-friendly, synthetic thermal insulation.

“We believe that great style doesn’t have to be expensive,” maintains Kretten. “Every item we create goes through that filter. Beyond that, our guys are active and they’re busy. They need clothes that are designed to wear well, provide warmth and look great as they’re going through their day.”
