How will an early Easter affect April sales?
Q: Since Easter came early this year (in March), what should I expect from April sales?
A: Unfortunately, when the Easter Bunny comes early it does steal some momentum from April sales. This is especially true when Easter falls during a cool weather period, as it did this year.
So, April sales will most likely be slower than usual but the good news is that we expect April to outperform March. Even though the holiday has passed, focus on pushing your spring-coded goods now that the weather has improved.
