NBC Olympics, a division of the NBC Sports Group, has selected Hardwick Clothes, to provide in-studio apparel for select hosts and analysts during the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, which take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from August 5 through August 21. The announcement was made today by Anne Grotefeld, vice president of Game Services, NBC Olympics, and Bruce Bellusci, President and CEO, Hardwick Clothes.

Hardwick, which is one of America’s oldest tailored clothing brand, will provide apparel from such programs as Hardwick’s H-Tech line that features performance-driven fabrics that have stretch and exclusive copper pocketing material that blocks RFID signals.

“This is part of an ongoing partnership between Hardwick and NBC that started last year,” Bellusci told MR. “We outfitted all of the hosts for NFL and NHL coverage, and we’ve seen great success. Now we are moving into bigger audience that will see the product and that’s really exciting.”

“We all grew up watching the Olympics, and it’s such a great American thing that we all love to watch,” adds Bellusci. “We are extremely proud to provide American-made product to the NBC hosts and to be able to contribute to its Olympics’ coverage of the Rio Games.”
