Clothing manufacturer Individualized Apparel Group (IAG) has promoted Chris Olberding to president of sales of the company’s Gitman Brothers division.

In his new role, Olberding will manage the brand’s two main product lines, Gitman and Gitman Vintage. He previously served as the vice president of sales for Gitman Vintage, the brand he created in 2009.

“Chris joined Gitman in 2007, and soon developed a fascination for the history of Gitman, its heritage, roots and people,” says Jim Brubaker, director of wholesale for IAG’s shirt divisions. “Out of this passion, Gitman Vintage was born and currently is sold in over 20 countries.  Chris will bring that same passion and vision to all of Gitman in his new position.”

Founded in 1932, Gitman continues to make its shirts in its Ashland, Pennsylvania factory.
