Family owned and operated active outdoor apparel company Avalanche has announced the addition of Christine Procopio to its design team.  Procopio, previously a senior designer at Reebok, joins the brand as design director, effective immediately. As director of design at Avalanche, Procopio will guide the direction of its four distinctive men’s and women’s apparel collections.

At Reebok, Procopio designed women’s, men’s and children’s apparel for various collections, including tennis, yoga, training, running and outerwear.  Procopio previously served as a designer for Jockey Ladies Activewear and Polo Jeans Company.  Most recently, she has been focused on design consulting for emerging brands.

“Christine is an exciting addition to our Avalanche family from her expansive background in active apparel development and her design and trends sense, as well as her determination to take our brand to the next level,” said Ronny Petrucci, EVP of Avalanche.  “We have ambitious plans for our 2018 collections, and Christine is the perfect person to help us achieve our goals.”

The Avalanche product line spans its active, outdoor traditional, outdoor urban and mountain heritage collections, featuring styles from performance base layers to insulated jackets for men and women.
