FJÄLLRÄVEN NAMES NATHAN DOPP NORTH AMERICAN PRESIDENT

Fjallraven storeSwedish heritage outdoor brand Fjällräven has appointed of Nathan Dopp as president and general manager in North America, effective immediately. Dopp will assume responsibility for the domestic operations of Fjällräven and Hanwag under the brands’ parent company Fenix Outdoor. He will report directly to Fenix Outdoor CEO Martin Nordin.

Dopp succeeds John Walbrecht, whom he worked alongside as Fjällräven’s vice president of sales and marketing since 2012. Moving forward, Dopp will focus on strengthening the brand’s infrastructure in North America and optimize operations in an effort to better serve retail and consumer communities. This will include additional executive appointments and key hires in the weeks and months to follow.

Dopp has more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, management and business development in the outdoor industry. Prior to joining Fjällräven, he served as the vice president of sales for Obermeyer, Spyder and Sunice.
