The Common Threads Retail Group, just back from their meeting in Montreal where they were hosted by Jack Victor and Ballin, gained a new appreciation of the production process that they can now pass on to their customers. Says Ed Steinberg of JS Edwards in Baltimore, “Getting to see the beautiful new Jack Victor showrooms, experiencing their modernized factory, and learning about new products proved a great way to understand the nuances of manufacturing and what differentiates the Jack Victor Company from its competition. What great hosts they were! We also had a wonderful visit with Ballin and learned a lot about their fabulous product.”

John Pickens, of Shreveport, Louisiana’s John Pickens Custom Clothiers, agrees. “What an incredible trip! I could go on and on. However, seeing first-hand the factories and the many steps of production by highly skilled Canadian workers allows us to come back to our stores and show our customers the value they receive when purchasing a Jack Victor or Ballin product.”

Retailer takeaway: Ask your key vendors if you can visit their factories for a new appreciation of the production process and a deeper understanding of their corporate culture. It pays off in spades!
