Douglas Jakubowski Named President of FitFlop

Douglas Jakubowski, the former chief merchandising officer of Perry Ellis, has been named president of U.K.-based footwear company FitFlop’s North American business.
Jakubowski had been with Perry Ellis since October 2011. Prior to that, he was chief merchant at Kenneth Cole Productions for nearly three years, and president of Kenneth Cole’s Reaction brand from 2005 to 2008. He spent eight years at Perry Ellis from 1997 to 2005.
FitFlop was founded seven years ago as an ergonomic sandal brand. It has since expanded to men’s and women’s shoes and boots.
