Collective Weathers Cold, Bowl Loss

by MR Magazine Staff

CHICAGO – Despite bone-chilling weather and the failure of the hometown team to come through in the clutch, the Chicago Collective got off to a rousing start on Super Bowl Sunday.

But unlike the Bears offense, the excitement at the Collective never let up.

The show was the first to combine the Collective, the Level8 contemporary presentation, the Stylemax women’s market and the BATA big & tall section into a single market, and the under-one-roof concept quickly won favor among buyers and sellers alike. About 400 were on hand for the Collective’s Super Bowl party and, to the chagrin of most but not all, watched the Indianapolis Colts, from the state next door, beat the Chicago Bears 29-17.

The Collective ends its three-day run on Tuesday.
