Steve Pruitt: That’s a great question. The answer is yes to new product categories, as long as they are appropriate to your store and clientele.
Another way to bring freshness to your floor is by adding a new set of eyes. Look for staff members that can bring a renewed sense of excitement to your store, and who can attract different kinds of customers. Maybe you want someone who can speak to younger consumers, or people with different fashion needs than your regulars. Be on the lookout for new energy, whether it be through staff or different kinds of products.
