bonobosE-commerce-driven menswear brand Bonobos has opened three new Guideshop locations: one in Chicago, Illinois in the Southport Corridor; one in Century City, California at 10250 Santa Monica Boulevard; and one in Lexington, Kentucky at the Summit at Fritz Farm.

The Guideshops, each of which are between 1,100 and 1,200 square feet, are an extension of the brand’s comprehensive customer service, by allowing those who want to see and try on the clothing in-person prior to making a purchase online.

Upon their arrival, customers are assigned a Bonobos Guide, similar to a personal shoppers, who are experts trained in fit and style and who can help customers navigate through the wide range of Bonobos merchandise such as suits, pants, outerwear, golf apparel, activewear and more. After merchandise has been selected, it is ordered and are shipped free-of-charge directly to the customer.

As previously reported by MR, national retail giant Walmart is reportedly in advanced talks to purchase for Bonobos for approximately $300 million, but neither party has confirmed the details.

The company now has over 30 Guideshops around the country.
