BLOOMINGDALE’S RE-LAUNCHES ‘GIVE PINK’ FOR BREAST CANCER CHARITIES

by Brian Lipton

originalBloomingdale’s has re-launched its popular “Give Pink” initiative which raises funds for the fight against breast cancer. This year’s beneficiaries are the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The Carey Foundation and the Marisa Acocella Marchetto Foundation. The program continues through November 1.

Store credit card holders who enroll with a $15 contribution will earn points, based on their purchases, towards reward cards worth between $25 and $250 to be used in-store or online. The store will give 100 percent of proceeds from these sales to the three charities.

In addition, fashion and beauty illustrator Donald Robertson has designed “Give Pink” t-shirts that will also support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and which can be purchased in stores or online through bloomingdales.com/give.

Last year, Bloomingdale’s raised $1.6 million through this program.
