Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Windows 2018Legendary New York City retailer Bergdorf Goodman unveiled its holiday windows this week with a visual feast of fantastical desserts this season. Visitors will be delighted by a dreamlike world filled with gilded treats, sugary inventions and luscious sweets, dubbed Bergdorf Goodies.

David Hoey, senior director of visual presentation, said: “This year our artistic team became faux-pastry chefs, dishing up a wall-to-wall profusion of sculpted confections. Everything candied, iced and lavish.”

Bergdorf Goodman visual director Shane Ruth filled the men’s store’s holiday windows with Bergdorf Goodies from head to toe. Mannequins are featured with candy heads and vivid colored sweet treats that are surrounded by rainbow tinsel trees and snow.

Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Windows 2018In addition to the spectacular windows, Bergdorf Goodman will sweeten their selection of gifts with exclusive dessert options from Flour Shop and Ladurée. For the first time, Flour Shop will open a pop-up on the fifth floor of the women’s store offering a unique Bergdorf Goodman inspired cake as well as some of their holiday favorites. In collaboration with Linda Fargo, Ladurée has created limited-edition flavors only available inside Noir on the second floor and Linda’s at BG on the fourth floor. There will also be a special holiday installation on the third floor by Ashley Longshore featuring her artwork along with a curated selection of product inspired by Bergdorf Goodies.

The Bergdorf Goodies holiday windows along Fifth Avenue and 58th Street in both the women’s and men’s stores will be open until January 3, 2019.
