BELK TO PARTICIPATE IN CHARLESTON FASHION WEEK
North Carolina-based department store Belk will be one of the major participants at Lexus Charleston Fashion Week, which will be held in Marion Square in Charleston, South Carolina, March 14-18.
The store will host a runway show on Thursday, March 16 as well as sponsor “The Belk Tent,” which will offer cocktails and showcase various brands throughout the week, including William Rast.
Other events will include the Emerging Designer Showcase, which will feature the work of 16 up-and-coming talents. Meanwhile, local retailers M. Dumas & Sons and Gwynn’s of Mount Pleasant will also host runway shows on March 15 and 17 respectively. Special guests at the event will include author and fashion consultant Fern Mallis and designer Rachel Roy.
