Barnes, Quick Promoted at Fossil

NEW YORK – Michael Barnes has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of Fossil Inc. and Mark Quick has been promoted to the post of vice chairman.

Barnes has been president of international at the company, and Quick had served as president of its accessories division.

Kosta Kartsotis, previously president and chief executive officer of the Richardson, Tex.-based watch and accessories company, continues as CEO. Barnes and Quick continue to report to Kartsotis.

“These promotions recognize the significant contributions both executives have made at Fossil,” said the CEO. “They also position the company for future global growth in both sales and profit.”
