Barbour Opens Outlet Store in Merrimack, N.H.

Barbour-120-years-logo-150x150Barbour opens an outlet store at the Merrimack Premium Outlets in Merrimack, N.H. today, the brand’s fourth outlet store in the U.S.

“We’re excited to join the Merrimack Premium Outlets this spring,” said Barbour’s head of North American retail Christopher Sapienza. “Barbour is a unique British lifestyle and heritage brand with a rich history that offers a wide variety of clothing and accessories for men and women. We are excited to be able to offer our first quality brand items at outlet prices that will appeal to the many different shoppers of Merrimack and the surrounding areas.”

Barbour’s other outlet stores are in Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Milford, N.H.; and Kittery, Maine. Barbour operates two retail stores in New York City, two in Chicago, and one each in Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Princeton, N.J. and Ardmore, Penn. A New Haven, Conn. store opened last November.

Barbour Inc. is the North American subsidiary of U.K.-based J. Barbour & Sons Ltd. The waxed cotton outerwear and sportswear brand was founded in South Shields, England in 1894.
