Karen Alberg Grossman

Karen Alberg Grossman is editor in chief of MR Magazine, which she founded with Stu Nifoussi in 1990, and MR-Mag.com. She is also editor in chief of Forum magazine and Accent magazine, both luxury lifestyle publications custom-designed for upscale independent stores. She started her career as an executive trainee for Bloomingdale's and then as a market rep for May Merchandising. A frequent moderator of industry panels and seminars and guest lecturer at fashion schools, she is known for her insightful editorials, personality-revealing profiles and provocative industry roundtables. She also admits to spending hours studying men under the guise of “market research.”
