Footwear brand Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL) will open its new headquarters in March 2018 at the Row DTLA, located on the edge of the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles.

The new space will feature over 15,000 square-feet and a store within the space known as the APL Retail Lab set to open in late spring 2018. This will be the first brick-and-mortar retail space for APL offering customers a chance to experience the world of APL. The new Row DTLA location was chosen by APL for the versatility and creativity of the mixed-use complex including the ability to house the company’s headquarters and new retail location in one of the six iconic and historic structures.

“Downtown Los Angeles is very important to the fabric of APL, therefore when the opportunity presented itself to be a part of the Row DTLA, which is the most exciting development in downtown; we knew we had to be a part of it,” explained Adam Goldston and Ryan Goldston, co-founders of APL. “One of the key reasons we gravitated to this location was our new space at the Row DTLA allows us to build an incredible headquarters and our first retail store in a historic L.A. location while simultaneously expanding our creative environment in unique ways that will foster new growth opportunities.”

aplAPL is a globally recognized leader in men’s and women’s athletic footwear and apparel. Rooted in technology and innovation, APL has been at the forefront of performance footwear since the introduction of the Concept 1 basketball shoe featuring groundbreaking Load N’ Launch technology, designed to instantly increase vertical leap. As a result, the Concept 1 became the first shoe banned by the NBA for performance reasons by “providing an undue competitive advantage” to the wearer.

Beginning in June 2014 the company pioneered the “luxury performance segment” of the athletic footwear market in connection with the launch of its running and training shoe collections for men and women. The combination of APL’s world-class patented technologies and its unique, innovative design vision has enabled APL to be carried in the finest luxury retailers across the world as well as through the APL website at athleticpropulsionlabs.com.
