Accutime Licensed for Van Heusen Watches
PVH has licensed Accutime Watch Corp. to manufacture, sell, distribute and promote men’s and boys’ watches under the Van Heusen brand in the U.S. and Canada through December 2016.
“We are excited to add men’s and boys’ watches to the Van Heusen portfolio of products,” said PVH president of licensing said Ken Wyse. “We believe that watches are a natural extension of the Van Heusen brand, given the brand’s foundation within dress furnishings and sportswear separates. Accutime has deep experience in the watch industry and a reputation for delivering superior quality products at competitive prices across all channels of distribution.”
“We believe that there is a void in the marketplace for a classic dress watch collection that combines elegance and updated fashion,” added Accutime SVP of marketing and licensing Harold Kirshner. “Our Van Heusen collection uses details in the case, dial and bands that make this collection one the consumer will be proud to wear.”
New York-based Accutime, founded in 1967, makes watches under license for the Disney, Warner Bros., Marvel, Nickelodeon, US Polo, XOXO and Kensie brands.
